The man slumped over the wheel of his car — an officer had to bang on the window for him to put the car in park.
WELLESLEY, MA — An erratic driver call to Wellesley police on Saturday ended in an OUI and drug possession arrest. A Boston man was arrested in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on Worcester Street.
After getting the call about an erratic driver in the paring lot just before 11:30 p.m., Wellesley police arrived to find the car parked in between two spaces in the lot and the driver was slumped over the wheel, passed out, according to reports. The car was still running and the officer had to bang loudly on the window to get the man's attention.
The man had passed out with his foot on the brake and the car was starting to roll forward while police tried to get his attention. It took a few times of explaining before the man understood to put the car in park, according to the report.
