Wellesley's Jeff Raider Brings Warby Parker to Newbury Street
It will be just the second brick-and-mortar store for the 'stylish and socially conscious' eyewear company.

And the mostly-online brand is about to open only its second permanent brick-and-mortar store on Boston's Newbury Street, reports the Boston Globe.
Warby Parker is the work of Wellesley-born Jeffrey Raider and three other Wharton graduates. (The Globe points out that the company has several local ties besides Raider, including Neil Blumenthal, co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, who is an alum of Tufts University in Medford and the company being named for Jack Kerouac (from Lowell) characters.
