Wellesley Schools To Offer Free Meals Through December
The USDA extended its free meals for kids program through December, so Wellesley students and families can continue to receive meals.
WELLESLEY, MA — Wellesley students and families will continue to receive free meals from the schools if they need it. The USDA extended its free meals for kids program through December which serves students and families in Wellesley.
The program started as a summer initiative to help families and students through the pandemic. It's operated through Wellesley Public School's food services and will ensure that Wellesley families receiving free meals for children from our schools will continue to get them through the end of this year, whether they are in-person or learning virtually.
Non-Wellesley Public Schools families and students who would like to participate in this program should send an email to Whitsons, the WPS food services provider.
