BOSTON, MA — The 2017 Boston Marathon Monday featured more than 30,000 runners, including 16 Westford runners who completed the race. Dianna Chivakos was the fastest Westford runner with a time of 3 hours, 27 minutes and 1 second. Overall, Kenyan Geoffrey Kirui won the men's race with a time of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 37 seconds. Fellow Kenyan Edna Kiplagat won the women's race with a time of 2 hours, 21 minutes and 53 seconds. Both were running the Boston Marathon for the first time.
