Accused Westford Convenience Store Robbers Indicted
Two indicted on masked armed robbery charges.

WOBURN, MA -- Two Lowell residents have been indicted on masked armed robbery and assault charges accused of using weapons in robbing the Brookside Convenience Store in Westford last January.
Tammy Perry, 33, and Shane Perry, 29, both of Lowell, were indicted on charges of: Masked armed robbery; assault with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; conspiracy, intimidation of a witness (two counts) and larceny.
After a week-long "intensive investigation" into the Jan. 28 armed robbery at the Brookside Convenience Store in Westford, police arrested the two Perrys and Diana Frechette, 36, also of Lowell.

Westford police allege the suspects allegedly demanded money from the clerk, as Tammy Perry allegedly brandished what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol and Shane Perry allegedly held a knife.
The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash in Frechette's car.

Frechette was not indicted. No arraignment date in superior court has been scheduled for the Perrys.
