Anti-Semitic Graffiti Around Westford Investigated As Hate Crime
Anti-semitic graffiti around Westford, has prompted police to ask for the public's help.

WESTFORD, MA — Police are investigating what they're calling a hate crime after finding dozens of anti-semitic graffiti images around town, including on a home, car and sign. Now officials are asking for the public's help to identify who was involved in the crime.
Police said the graffiti happened overnight on three different nights.
"Please check your home security cameras if you live in the areas of the damage," police said.

The first acts of vandalism happened between July 19 and 20 around more than a dozen streets in town, according to police. Officials are asking residents on Lakeside Terrace, Blue Heron Drive, Gooseneck Lane, Shipley Circle, Eagles Nest Road, Fawn Road, Pond View Circle, Jack Rabbit Lane, Grassy Lane, Birchwood, Loon Way, Muriel Drive and Lawson Road to check their home security footage for anything suspicious.
A second spate of vandalism happened overnight from July 28 to July 29 near Pine Ridge Road and Kylemore drive. Several different places were spray-painted, police said. Officials are asking residents who live on Kylemore Drive, Pine Ridge, Coldspring. Boutwell Hill and Bayberry roads to check their security cameras.

A third spree happened the following night on July 29 into July 30, in the area of Russells Way, Vineyard Rd., Tyler Rd., Christy Lane, Morrison Lane, and on Caldwell and Danely drives.
Police are asking if anyone has information or suspicious footage from those lights to contact police at 978-692-2161.
