Ayer Cultural Council Holiday Arts & Crafts Event Now ONLINE
Shopping Open November 1-December 20, 2020
AYER, MA: Under normal circumstances, the Ayer Cultural Council (ACC) might celebrate the holidays with a festive Yule Tide celebration in Town Hall’s Great Hall, mingling with friends, sharing conversation, showing off local artwork, and drinking a cup or two of eggnog. But as we all know far too well now, these are not normal circumstances. Town Hall currently isn’t open to the public, and even if it was open – it’s not safe to gather. Still, when life gives you lemons – make some lemonade!
From November 1 thru December 20, the ACC is celebrating ONLINE – and the world is invited from the comfort of your own homes. Over seventy local artists, craftsmen and businesses are featured in this inaugural holiday Arts & Crafts fair. Drawn upon from near and far (some very far!), participants are offering up their wares via a Facebook page, as well as an online site for those not on Facebook. On these pages, visitors can casually peruse items, and if they want to purchase – it’s just a click or two away. Some items have direct links to sites where you can find even MORE products available!
And they’re fantastic products from inexpensive to indulgent – artwork, photography, clothing, health and beauty items, gifts, jewelry, home décor, foods… and items will continue to be added throughout the event!

The ACC Arts & Crafts Fair is running thru December 20, during which time the public is welcome to shop as they wish, as often as they wish, without having to leave home. Proceeds from these sales go directly to the participants to help support them during this awful pandemic. These supporters have pledged a small donation to the ACC to partake, and 100% of these pledges will be added to the Cultural Council’s grant funds for the 2021 cycle.
