Bicyclist Killed In Westford Crash

WESTFORD, MA — A 62-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a Cadillac on Groton Road, the Middlesex District Attorney's office and Westford police said Tuesday night.

Authorities said the Cadillac was driving westbound on Route 40 when it struck the bicyclist, who was riding in the opposite direction. The victim, whose identity was not released, was brought to Lowell General Hospital, where he died.

The driver remained at the scene. No charges have been filed.
