WESTFORD, MA — A death of a person near found near Forge Pond April 28 was not considered suspicious according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office.
Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. two people found a person near the train tracks close to West Prescott Street, unresponsive. When Westford police and fire got there, they pronounced the person deceased.
According to the Middlesex District Attorney's office this is not being investigated as a suspicious death.

Additional information, including the identity of the person is being withheld at this time pending next of kin notification.
Police confirmed that, contrary to early reports, no body was pulled from the pond.
