Carlisle Road's Cynosure Gets Product Approval From Australian, Chinese Governments

The Carlisle Road-based lazer skin health company has grown significantly over the past three years.

Carlisle Road's Cynosure announced in a press release earlier this week that the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration has granted market clearance for their trademarked Picosecond Laser, Picosure.

According to the company, the product is the first picosecond laser designed to remove tattoos and pigmented lesions, introduced onto the U.S. market earlier this year.

"PicoSure continues to be enthusiastically received by physicians and consumers in North America and Europe," said Cynosure CEO Michael Davin. "We are excited about the opportunity to market the product to our customers and their patients in Australia, which is a new direct sales territory for the Company."

The company also received approval to market its trademarked Smartlipo MPX LaserBodySculpting Workstation in China.

Located almost immediately across the street from the Paul's Diner plaza, the company recently announced it will seek a Tax Increment Finance district from the town to expand after announcing it will bring 200 more jobs to Westford.
