District Attorney Accuses Westford Man Of Drug Trafficking

WESTFORD, MA — A Westford man was arrested and accused of trafficking drugs and a gun Friday, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Westford Acting Chief of Police Mark Chambers said in a joint statement.
Police arrested Mark Timothy Garcia, 34 of Westford, Friday. He was arraigned in Ayer District Court, and held on $4,000 bail with the condition that he wears a GPS monitoring bracelet and remains under house arrest April 12.
Several people sent anonymous tips to Westford Detectives reporting Garcia dealing narcotics out of his home on Cold Spring Road in Westford.

After a month investigation, local detectives and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), executed a search warrant of Garcia's home and car on April 7. During the search, investigators said they found a scale and individual "deal bags" consistent with drug transactions.
The District's Attorney's office said law enforcement also found narcotics and cash, including $31,876, a firearm, 109 grams of cocaine, 4 pounds of marijuana, 770 tabs of LSD, two bottles of codeine, 113 grams of THC edibles, 10 grams of ketamine, 78 grams of MDMA, 5 Oxycodone pills, 41 grams of crushed amphetamine, six pill bottles full of amphetamine pills and 415 grams of methamphetamine.

Of the 415 grams of Methamphetamine, police found approximately 387 grams pressed to resemble trademark “Adderall” pills, according to the District Attorney's office. These type of Methamphetamine pills are an emergence in the Westford area, according to authorities.
The District Attorney's office charged Garcia with trafficking more than 100 grams of cocaine, trafficking more than 200 grams of Methamphetamine, possession of a firearm without a license, possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance, possession with Intent to distribute a Class D substance, possession of ammunition without a license and using a firearm while committing a felony in connection with allegedly dealing Cocaine as well as other narcotics at a home in Westford.
