Double Overtime Win Earns Westford Ice Hockey Semi-final Bid

WESTFORD, MA - The Westford Academy girls' ice hockey team will continue its bid for a tournament glory after an unlikely win Tuesday night.

Westford Academy (13) skated past Woburn High School (5) for a 2-1 victory at the O'Brien Rink in Woburn Tuesday night. The quarter-final game required double overtime for the Grey Ghosts to secure the victory.

The Ghosts are next in action Sunday, March 13 against the No. 1 seed Arlington Catholic team. The puck drops at 3 p.m. at O'Brien Rink in Woburn.
