Fire Damages 120-Year-Old Westford Home

The Tuesday fire caused extensive damage to the home's attic.

WESTFORD MA - An early morning fire caused extensive damage to an antique house Tuesday, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to the fire on Main Street at about 4:30 a.m.and it took over two hours to extinguish it, officials said.

There were occupants in the home at the time of the fire but no injuries were reported, officials said.

The home's attic was heavily damaged in the blaze, officials said.

The home was built in 1893, the Boston Globe reported. The house has five bedrooms and is valued at about $675,700, according to the Boston Globe.
