The new restaurant would be located at 68 Boston Road, the former Drew Garden property.
Groton resident Ebrahim “Ebi” Masalehdan, who purchased the 9.5-acre property, voiced his vision for the new restaurant at a public hearing earlier this month, Wicked Local reported.

“My dream for that property… is to make it beautiful,” Masalehdan said, according to Wicked Local. “I talked to my engineers… to come up with a design that would suit the gateway of Westford.”
The proposed 34,000-square-foot restaurant would have 180 seats and 137 parking spaces, Wicked Local reported. The plans reportedly include an orchard and crops to be used in the kitchen.
One of the main concerns regarding the plans is the size of the of the proposed building.
“My concern is that this building is extremely large,” Westford resident Chris Burns said in the hearing, Wicked Local reported.
