Halloween/Fall Fun at the Senior Center, Westford CAT, a Parade and More!

The weekend's coming. Here are a few things going on in Westford.

The fall is here, and it’s time for another Westford fall tradition.

If you couldn’t kick off the season with the Fall Foliage Festival at the East Boston Camps earlier this month, don’t fret, the Cameron Senior Center is going to have plenty of autumnal fun on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with their annual Harvest Fair.

Food will be available on Saturday, and there will be plenty of crafts and other items to purchase a well.

Roudenbush Volunteer Organization Fair

Do you love to help out? Well, Westford’s community center is the place for you!

Stop on by the Roudenbush gymnasium on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. as local non-profit groups, community groups and town departments gather to provide volunteering opportunities for local residents.

Refreshments will be served, admission is free.  

Grand Opening Celebration

Craft Beer Cellar at 142 Littleton Road is now open and they want to celebrate on Friday.

From 5 to 7 p.m. (and maybe longer), they’ll welcome Rising Tide Brewing Company from Main and Green River Ambrosia from Greenfield by serving free beer (over 21 only), free snacks and giveaway items.

WEF Walk for Education Halloween Parade

Join the Westford Education Foundation for the 10th anniversary of their annual parade from the Town Common to the Abbot School!

Assembly will take place at 12:30, with the parade beginning at 1 p.m.

There’s snacks, music and treats for the kids. It costs $10, with a maximum of $30 per family. All proceeds go to Westford schools, and the first 75 pre-registered participants get a free tote bag.

For the third straight year, party live on cable TV as WestfordCAT holds its annual Halloween Party on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Healing at United Methodist Church

Healing prayers, music and personal testimonies will be given for those facing spiritual and emotional challenges or just those looking for a compassionate community at the United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on Sunday for a very special service.

The Lego Club Returns

Come to the library on Saturday at 2 p.m. to have fun with Legos! All creations will be displayed in the children’s section until the next Lego Club meeting.
