How Much Snow Did Westford Get?

Reports from the National Weather Service after the first real snowfall of the season.

The first real snowfall of the year dumped 3.5 inches of the white stuff on Westford, according to the National Weather Service.

The unofficial measurement came via ham radio at 7:04 a.m. The National Weather Service often relies of community members to help measure snowfall around the state.

The snow, which started to fall Sunday night before giving way to rain Monday morning, contributed to Westford Public Schools opening two hours late.
