Mary's Community Thrift Store Wants Your Money to Stay in Westford

This local non-profit is in the business of giving back.

Making a purchase always satisfies when you can feel good about where your money is going.

The Mary’s Community Thrift Store is a 501c non-profit business, focused on providing new and gently used clothing, fine and costume jewelry, used books, small furniture and household accents, glass and kitchenware, decorative artwork, children’s toys, sporting goods and memorabilia, vintage and retro finds at reasonable prices, according to co-owner Wendy Turcotte.

"Our mission is to donate the proceeds back to the local community through qualifying charities," she said. "Therefore, each donation made directly makes the community a better place."

That means much of the money you spend stays in Westford.

"Each trip to our store is guaranteed to be a unique shopping experience for cost conscious individuals, up-cyclers and re-purposers, environmentally conscious individuals, re-sellers and dealers, as well as collectors and treasure hunters."

The store will be open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m Saturday. Vintage pin candles will be on sale, with the proceeds going to the community this December, says Turcotte.
