Monday Essentials: Town Meetings and Musical Fun

Here are five things to know for this week in Westford.

1. Upcoming Fun: Steve Blunt, an award winning children's musician will play a lawn concert for the whole family on Saturday at 11 a.m. under the oak tree at the J.V. Fletcher Library. Bring a blanket and enjoy the fun! The concert is free. 

2. This Week in Meetings: The Planning Board will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall meeting room, and the Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday. For the full meeting schedule, check out Westford’s official website. 

3. Weather: According to the National Weather Service, weather this week will be in the mid 70s to low 80s, with a chance of rain on Thursday.

4. For the Kids: The library is having an end of the summer reading bash on Tuesday with the Toe Jam Puppet Band. The show will begin at 11 a.m. outside on the lawn, and there will be cake available before the show.

5. ICYMI: In case you missed it, 50 Westford residents rode in the 34th annual Pan-Mass Challenge this weekend.
