Nearly Half Of Westford Lost Power Monday
Thousands of people were in the dark as high winds slammed the area.

WESTFORD, MA – Nearly half of Westford lost power Monday as high winds slammed Massachusetts. According to the MEMA outage map, 4,616 homes were in the dark at the peak of outages. That's 47 percent of the customers served in town.
Wind speeds ranging from 46 mph to nearly 60 mph were reported across the state. As of 10 p.m. Monday night, there were still over 2,000 outages in Westford.
