Westford's Nancy Arbeene commented on the incredible number of dragonflies this year in her neighborhood.
"There are many varieties out here and great to photograph. We haven't had mosquito spraying and are thrilled to have Nature's Winged Team take care of problem," she wrote to Patch. "I wonder what happens to all those dragonflies when areas are sprayed?"
Arbeene also noted that mushrooms are popping up everywhere "with this crazy weather." She submitted a photo she calls "a mushroom birdbath." Â
