Spring Means Food Trucks in Westford

WESTFORD, MA - It may be hard to believe, but spring is less than 30 days away.

In Westford, the coming of spring should also get your mouth watering for The Fashion Truck’s Savor in Style Festival (formerly the Westford Food Truck Festival). The event returns May 7, 2016, to Abbott Elementary School.

Food trucks from throughout the area will bring their tasty and unique creations to the school lot from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on May 7. In addition, activities for kids and families and booths from local vendors will be part of the event.

Emily Benson, owner of The Fashion Truckand founder of the event, is recruiting vendors now for the event, according to the event’s website. Food truck owners can fill out an online application to participate.

Additionally, local businesses are invited to come display their wares. Vendors who “sell handmade, vintage or artisan goods,” “have a business that helps improve people’s lives” or ”have a family and/or kid oriented business” are invited to fill out an online application to set up at the festival.

The deadline for both food truck owners to apply is March 25. Business vendors have until April 15 to apply.
