Town Works to Fix the Culvert on Route 40
The town is working on the Route 40 culvert.
The Town of Westford released the following:
Curious what is being fixed on Route 40? Here is a picture of the work underway that shows the old culvert that was collapsing exposed. The stacked granite arch culvert over was never designed to carry modern vehicular traffic of over 10,000 vehicles per day.
