The girls earned a spot in the first round of the tournament with a victory in the preliminary round Wednesday night.
WESTFORD, MA - The Westford Academy girls' ice hockey team skated its way to a preliminary round victory over Winthrop/Lynn Wednesday night.
Westford Academy (13) topped Winthrop/Lynn (20) by a score of 4-0 Wednesday night at Skate 3 Ice Arena in Tyngsborough.
Saturday, Westford Academy will face off against Billerica (4) in a first-round match at Hallenborg Rink in Billerica. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
