Westford Academy Student Makes It To Finals In TV Competition

WESTFORD, MA — A Westford Academy sophomore has made it to the finals of a singing reality show.

Rishab Nair of Boston Road entered the Malayalam language competition earlier this year. A video of his finale performance and encouragement from friends and family aired on FLOWERS TV USA, a 24-hour Malayalam General entertainment television channel.

Nair is one of 30 finalists. The Facebook likes on the original post has 20 percent weight for his grand finale score in the "Sing and Win" competition.

People have until Dec. 31 to vote.
