WESTFORD, MA - The Westford Apple Blossom Festival is in bloom. Here's what you need to know.
The 2016 Apple Blossom Festival started Wednesday, May 11 and will continue through the weekend. There will be carnival games and rides as well as several events.

Westford Against Substance Abuse Ice Cream Social: Thursday, May 12 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Battle of the Bands: Friday, May 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Abbot Gym.

Apple Blossom Festival Parade: Saturday, May 14 starting at 10 a.m.
Jumbo Lobsters and Raffle: Saturday, 3 p.m.
Fireworks: Saturday, 9:30 p.m.
Carnival: The carnival will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Parking and entry to the carnival is free.

Road Closures: On Saturday, May 14Â there will be some road closures from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 pm. The affected roads are as follows: Main Street, Depot Street, Hildreth Street, Lincoln Street, Forge Village Road, Graniteville Road and Boston Road. Some secondary streets will also be closed. Residents and commuters are encouraged to seek an alternate route during the above time frame. Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services will not be disrupted by the road closures.
