At the same time, the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, which is helping with the search, began hosting focus groups virtually to gather input in early December.
After input, a screening committee will review applications and conduct initial interviews to narrow the field down to between three and five finalists in February, the school committee said. Once the finalists are chosen, there will be public forums to meet the candidates and provide feedback to the school committee, which will make the final decision.
