Westford Power Outages Amid 60 MPH Wind
Strong winds knocked out power to thousands in Massachusetts Thursday morning.
WESTFORD, MA — Strong winds of nearly 60 mph knocked out power in Westford Thursday morning. At 1 p.m., there were 35 without power in Westford, according to National Grid. Sustained wind gusts of 20-60 mph were expected to continue through Thursday night. A wind advisory is in effect through 9 p.m.
National Grid reported about 2,500 were without power in the northeastern Massachusetts Thursday morning. This is a shot of the National outage map as of 1 p.m.:
