Westford Realtor Geraldine MacInnis Dies at 74

Geraldine “Gerry” R. (Ottey) MacInnis, 74, of Westford, MA died early Sunday morning, September 21, 2014 at Westford House.
She was married to Robert E. MacInnis with whom she would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on October 12, 2014.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the only daughter of the late S. Lewis and Maude Ottey. She graduated from Lowell High School, where she was a member of the National Society, in 1958, and from the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School of Boston.
Gerry owned and operated with her husband the Apple Valley Real Estate in Westford for over ten years, retiring in 1989. She had previously worked as a Realtor for the Emerson Real Estate in Chelmsford and as Executive Secretary for Avco in Burlington.

She sang in the choir at the Elliot Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Commander Derek L. MacInnis and his wife, Donna Porter, of Bowie, MD and a grandson, Ian MacInnis. She was the mother of the late Christopher Robert MacInnis.

There are no visiting hours. A Memorial Service will be held Friday Evening at 6:00 p.m. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Private Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Westford.
