Westford Sisters to Represent New England at Swim Championships

Jessica and Madison Leong, both of Westford, have qualified to represent New England at Eastern Zone Age Group Swim Championships August 7-10 in Richmond, Virginia.  

The girls just completed a long course season which culminated this past weekend with New England Age Group Swim Championships, held at Harvard University. More than 50 teams were represented at NE Age Group Championships; in four days of competition, the Leongs collectively earned six medals and more than 10 ribbons.  

The girls' team, Crimson Aquatics, placed first at NE Age Group Swim Championships and will be well-represented at Eastern Zones, as four of Jessica and Madison's "12 & Under" teammates will be competing with them in Virginia.   

Madison is one of 9 (10-year old) girls representing New England at Eastern Zones.  She will be swimming the 100 Freestyle, 50 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, 50 Butterfly, 100 Butterfly, and 200 Individual Medley.  Jessica is one of 24 (12-year old) girls representing New England, and will be swimming the 50 Butterfly, 100 Butterfly, and 200 Butterfly.
