Westford Weighs Possible Uses For Old North Main Street Anodizing Plant
A task force will create a request for proposals for the property.
The 12 North Main Street Task Force is requesting proposals for possible uses applicable to the old anodizing plant, the Westford Eagle reported.
Currently, it is being considered as a mixed-use development. The task force is hoping labeling it as such will get the best suggestions and feedback from the public, according to the Westford Eagle.
Many possible options for reuse of the property were explored before deciding on mixed use, such as light industrial or residential use. A new park was the most popular suggestion in a recent online survey, however that is a far more expensive option, as reported by the Westford Eagle.
