Westford Winter Storm Watch: 6-10 Inches Of Snow

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the area and says up to 10 inches of snow is possible.

WESTFORD, MA – A winter storm watch was issued for Westford Tuesday as another storm works its way to Massachusetts. The National Weather Service has forecasted anywhere from 6-10 inches of snow for Westford. The Winter storm watch has been issued for north central and northeastern Massachusetts.

A winter storm watch means there is the potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulation.

"Plan on difficult travel conditions, mainly after the Wednesday evening commute," the National Weather Service said in a statement. "Significant reductions in visibility are possible."

Wednesday
A chance of snow, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 32. Northeast wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Wednesday Night
Snow likely, mainly after 7pm. Cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.

Thursday
Snow likely, mainly before 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. North wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
