Westford's Lori Trahan To Address Surge Impact On Health Workers

WESTFORD, MA — Congresswoman Lori Trahan, who represents Massachusetts' 3rd District, is hosting a Facebook Live discussion Dec. 9 to highlight how individuals and the state can support health care heroes on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Soaring #COVID19 cases and hospitalizations are putting hospital and health center workers under immense pressure," the Westford Democrat said in a Facebook post.

Trahan will be joined by special guests Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D., a Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health graduate and physician, and Katie Murphy, RN, President of the Massachusetts Nurses Association and a nurse in the Special Pathogens Units at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
