Woman Found Dead In Westford ID'd: DA

WESTFORD, MA – A body found in Westford has been identified as a 38-year-old Springfield woman, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office and Westford police. Her name is not being released at this time, authorities said Monday.

Police were called to Providence Road around 11:41 a.m. Saturday for a report of a body on the side of the road. Authorities are treating the woman's death as suspicious based on its location and because she was not dressed appropriately for the cold weather, the DA's office said.

Authorities are still working to determine the woman's cause of death.
