The Westford Jr. Ghosts C Team cheerleaders have advanced to compete at the Pop Warner National Cheerleading Championships to be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida on December 6, 2014. The squad has won 3 competitions in order to qualify for this event. The Westford Jr. Ghosts are part of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc, a youth football and cheer program. This is only the second time a team from the Westford Jr. Ghosts has qualified for this level of competition.
The Westford Jr. Ghosts are seeking our community’s support. Our goal is to ensure that each of these scholar-athletes has the opportunity to participate in this competition. In order to accomplish this goal, it is necessary to seek donations from our community. The funds collected will help to defray the travel costs. As an all volunteer, non-profit organization, we do not have reserve funds for situations like these and therefore rely heavily on auxiliary contributions from the community when these opportunities present themselves.
