Board of Assessors Receives Preliminary Certification For FY2019

WESTON, MA—The Board of Assessors has received preliminary certification for all property valuations for fiscal year 2019 from the Division of Local Services, the town announced.

Fiscal 2019 is a certification year for the town, and all properties must be at their estimated fair market value as of Jan. 1, 2018. Property owners are getting an impact notice indicating their proposed Fiscal Year 2019 assessed valuation. The basis of the assessment is actual sales in town from Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2017.
