Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization Wants Your Feedback On How To Score Transportation Projects

The state’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) helps fund transportation projects across the state, such as the proposed Rt. 30 Complete Streets Project in Weston. Certain criteria must be met before consideration and the MPO is looking to makes some updates based on regional feedback.

When deciding which transportation projects to fund, the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) uses this criteria to assess how each project will help accomplish the MPO’s goals. With the endorsement of the Long-Range Transportation Plan, Destination 2040, the MPO has the opportunity to revise the project evaluation criteria to better reflect the updated regional goals.
