Early In-Person Voting For The State Primary Election In Weston

No notary services or marriage applications are being processed until after September 1.

While the physical space of Town Hall remains closed to the public, a portion of it will open to the public specifically for early in-person voting for the State Primary Election from August 22 through August 28.

Please note that all offices in Town Hall remain closed to the public and if you need to conduct business with any other department within Town Hall you will need to contact staff via email to schedule an appointment. Email is the best method for contact.

Likewise, the secure drop box outside the double glass doors can be used to pay bills or drop-off paperwork. The only space that will be open to the public is the voting area outside the Town Clerk’s Office. Early in-person voting is for the State Primary only, NOT the Town Election.

Additionally, services offered by the Town Clerk’s Office have been reduced to election work and processing vital records. No notary services or marriage applications are being processed until after Sept. 1st.

All precincts report to Town Hall for early in-person voting for the State Primary Election on the following days:

  • Sat., Aug. 22 - 8am to 1pm
  • Sun., Aug. 23 - 8am to 1pm
  • Mon., Aug. 24 - 8:30am to 5pm
  • Tue., Aug. 25 - 8:30am to 5pm
  • Wed., Aug. 26 - 8:30am to 5pm
  • Thurs., Aug. 27 - 8:30am to 5pm
  • Fri., Aug. 28 - 8:30am to 5pm

The deadline to register to vote for the State Primary is August 22 and can be done in person from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 8pm with the Town Clerk. You can also register to vote online. Check online if you are unsure of your registration status.

Election day for the State Primary is Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents wanting to vote in person should understand that voting booths will be limited in number and they should anticipate longer wait times, including the possibility of waiting outside, due to required social distancing and other protective measures. Please note changes to Polling Locations for the State Election:

  • Precincts 1 and 2 are to report to Town Hall Auditorium (former polling location was the Methodist Church and St. Peters)
  • Precincts 3 and 4 are to report to the Community Center (former polling location was St. Demetrios
