- While outside on the grounds of the Weston Public Schools, we will no longer be requiring any type of face covering to be worn outside during regular recess, lunch, mask breaks, and most other outdoor activities.
- According to Governor Bakerβs release, masks are still required to be worn inside of school buildings.
- We will continue to maintain safe social distancing, both indoors and outdoors, as we have practiced all year.
We will keep these and all other safety protocols in place until we get more specified direction from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, which could come as soon as tomorrow. Additionally, we are still waiting for further clarification from the MIAA regarding athletics and the State Department of Public Health and local Weston Board of Health on chorus, band, and other nuanced outdoor gatherings and programs."
Thank you. Best,
Dr. Midge Connolly
