WESTON, MA — The May 2019 opening of Blue Monarch in Weston has been, in several ways, the culmination of a long journey. Its Iranian-born founder, Mojgan Brumby, found the moniker Blue Monarch (the butterfly known for its ability to make transatlantic flights), a fitting choice for the store and skin care line that represents not only her own personal journey to the United States, but also the story behind the origins of the products she now brings to the Bay State.
The Blue Monarch skin care line consists of traditional Persian remedies passed down to Mojgan, combined with the most advanced technology and science to create effective and natural products. Nearly 20 years in the making, Mojgan has now made available a skin care line for men and women, that uses only certifiably raw ingredients, packed with protein, vitamins and minerals and never uses synthetic or other harmful ingredients.
“Our products are all made in the United States and never tested on animals … they’re tested on me!” said Mojgan. Beyond providing high quality, all-natural skin care products, Mojgan’s plan for the store includes a 360-degree approach to a healthy lifestyle.

Blue Monarch will host monthly workshops featuring local health care and beauty experts, and the store’s website and blog will highlight local resources and news on the latest skin care breakthroughs. The space will also host events for local nonprofit and social organizations.

“My husband and I have been in Weston since 2017 and we love living here and have been inspired by the people we’ve met. With the opening of Blue Monarch, we are looking to sow more seeds in this community. A healthy lifestyle includes a vibrant community and we are looking forward to doing our part to ensure it is.”
The Blue Monarch is located at 464 Boston Post Road in Weston. Store hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The stores is closed on Sunday and Monday.
