Regis Appoints Vice President of Institutional Advancement
New VP will Lead the University's Comprehensive Campaign

Regis College is pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Hokanson, EdD, as Vice President of Institutional Advancement. Hokanson, who has more than three decades of extensive fundraising experience in higher education, will oversee advancement and alumni engagement, implement fundraising strategies and lead the completion of the universityβs Now We Fly comprehensive campaign.
βKimberlyβs depth of experience in higher education fundraising and campaign strategy development combined with her proven effective management skills make her the ideal candidate to lead our universityβs advancement office,β said university President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. βShe will build upon our culture of philanthropy and is a welcome addition to my senior leadership team.β
βI am inspired by Regisβ mission and am eager to lead advancement efforts of a university with strong leadership and a clear commitment to philanthropic growth,β said Hokanson. βI look forward to collaborating with faculty and staff across the university and meeting the loyal members of the Regis alumni and donor community.β

For the past nine years, Hokanson has served in several positions of increasing responsibility at Wellesley College. Most recently, she served as Associate Vice President and Interim Co-Vice President for Resources in the Development Office. At Wellesley, she led a team that successfully planned and executed a $500 million campaign. Prior to this, Hokanson worked in the development offices at Bates College and Harvard University.
Hokanson is a member of many professional organizations including the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the George & Raymond Frank Foundation. She has served as keynote speaker at many local and national conferences.

Hokanson earned her bachelorβs degree in American studies from Colby College and masterβs and doctorate in education from Harvard University.
