Slippery Sunday Causes Multiple Accidents
With icy conditions on Sunday, the roads around Weston were dangerous to drive on.
Wet, icy conditions on Sunday morning sent quite a few drivers in Weston off the roads. The vast majority of the accidents resulted in either no injuries or minor injuries, according to police reports.
At least 10 reported accidents occurred before noon, all over town, with incidents on River Road, North Avenue, Lexington Street, Boston Post Road Bypass, South Avenue, Boston Post Road and Concord Road.
Weston police sent out a , asking residents to stay off the road until Department of Public Works crews could lay down sand.

The wet weather will continue on and off until Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
