Some Loud Drills In Weston Due To Commuter Rail Line Work
This is when the commuter rail line work will impact Weston.

WESTON, MAβCommuter line work on the Worcester-Framingham line is going to impact Weston near the Leo J. Martin golf course at Intervale, Orchard, Blake and Tamarack roads.
The drill work takes place on the line on July 7 and 8 between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
MassDOT and the MBTA are undertaking federally mandated Positive Train Control (PTC) infrastructure installation, which will increase the safety of commuter rail customers, and would like to advise the community of upcoming daytime drill work within the right-of-way along the MBTA Worcester Commuter Rail Line.

Due to the equipment necessary to perform this work, high-level noise levels can be expected. On July 7 and 8, rock drilling activities can be expected from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
