Wanted And Needed: Election Workers In Town Of Weston

Safety measures will be in place, including PPE and physical distancing.

August 11, 2020

The Weston Town Clerk is seeking residents 18+ to help the community by working in the three upcoming elections. Poll workers are responsible for checking in registered voters, answering general questions, and checking out the voters after the ballot has been submitted. With the anticipated increase in absentee/vote by mail ballots this year, workers will also assist with that process. Many of Weston’s election workers are considered to be in the at-risk population for COVID-19. Because of this, there is additional need for help with the elections. Safety measures will be in place, including PPE and physical distancing.
