Weekday Police Logs: Neighborly Disputes, Marijuana Bust

Monday, Oct. 4

9:16 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency call on North Avenue.

9:49 a.m., police were called to mediate a dispute between a resident and tree worker on Silver Hill Road. Police said the man was upset a tree was being removed, and threw a piece of the tree at one of the workers. The worker declined to press charges, and police spoke to the resident.

11:57 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency call on Sudbury Road.

4 p.m., police stopped a car on Warren Avenue by Boston Post Road, and issued the driver a citation or warning.

7:51 p.m., a caller reported a car accident involving a car and a deer on Sylvan Lane. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, Oct. 5

2:59 p.m., police stopped a car on Elliston Road and issued the driver a citation or warning.

5:16 p.m., a caller reported the traffic lights were not working by Biogen Idec, on Boston Post Road.

6:07 p.m., police stopped a car on Boston Post Road and issued the driver a citation or warning.

8:38 p.m., police stopped a car on Center Street by Boston Post Road and issued the driver a citation or warning.

Wednesday, Oct. 6

8:56 a.m., a caller registered a dog complaint on Shady Hill Road.

10:32 a.m., a caller reported a wire was down on Glen Road.

11:10, a caller reported a wire was in a tree on Shady Hill Road.

4:17 p.m., a caller reported a tree branch in the road on Highland Street.

7:05 p.m., police responded to a car accident on Wellesley Street. No injuries were reported.

10:38 p.m., police responded to a medical call on Jericho Road.

Thursday, Oct. 7

7:40 a.m., a caller reported suspicious activity on Glen Road.

9:51 a.m., a caller reported a wire had fallen into a tree on Winter Street.

12:25 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency call on Boston Post Road.

4:36 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Town House Road.

7:45 p.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop, police issued a civil citation to one person for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

9:06 p.m., police stopped a car on Wellesley Street and issued the driver a citation or warning.
