WESTON, MA β Weston might not have fireworks, but this doesn't mean residents can't enjoy activities in nearby towns.
On July 4, Newton will have its annual Independence Day Fireworks. Fireworks are at the Albemarle Field/Halloran Sports Complex and start at 9 a.m. The sports complex is located at 250 Albemarle Road in Newton.
Concord, one of starting grounds of the American Revolution also has some festivities for the whole family.

On July 4, Concord has a couple different activities going on including a reading of a the Declaration of Independence and the town's annual Picnic In The Park.
Join park rangers and volunteers at North Bridge for a live reading of the Declaration of Independence. Come celebrate the role Concord played in shaping American independence.
The event is free and begins promptly at 1 p.m. North Bridge is located at 174 Liberty Street.

Concord's annual Picnic in the Park will once again be taking place at Emerson Field. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. come enjoy a day of music, food, and activities for all ages.
Emerson Field is located at 90 Stow Street in Concord.
