Weston To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Newburyport
The Wildcats take on the Newburyport Clippers in the first round of the football tournament.
WESTON, MA – Weston heads to the MIAA Football North Division 5 tournament, taking on Newburyport Oct. 28.
The Wildcats, seeded fourth with a 5-2 record, will kick off the tournament against the fifth-seeded Clippers, who enter the tournament with a 3-3 record. Weston goes up against Newburyport Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Wellesley High School.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
