To the Community of Weston,

"Today I want to join my fellow police chiefs from Massachusetts in condemning the actions of the four Minneapolis police officers which resulted in the death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020. What I saw in the video sickened me not only as a police chief but as a career police officer.

I want the community to know that the Weston Police Department values the life, dignity and civil rights of all people. We reaffirm our commitment to policing the community with fairness, compassion and hopefully earning the trust of all."
