Westonβs Public health and safety authorities are monitoring the pandemic and have the responsibility to help manage the spread of the disease, The most important thing ALL people can do at this time is to adhere to personal distances of at least 6-feet and to avoid public gatherings in order to minimize the rate of spread of the infection within the community.
YOU may not feel sick but you could be unwittingly spreading the virus to others who could become seriously ill, which is why practicing social distancing and frequently washing hands are so critical.

To this end:
- All school children should remain at home and avoid public gathering places - going outdoors for play is OK so long as group activity is limited to immediate family and 6-foot distance is maintained
- Avoid playdates
- All municipal, recreation, and school playgrounds are closed to avoid the spread of the virus from contact with the equipment
- School fields and courts are closed
- Municipal, Recreation, Conservation parks, fields and trails can be accessed by individuals and groups from the same household but group activities are prohibited and police are monitoring
- Dogs must be leashed at all times, even on conservation trails
- Watch closely for symptoms, even minor: fever, cough, shortness of breath
- Report all symptoms of illness to the School nurses or the Weston Health Department
- Know how to prevent getting sick
- Conservation trails and the rail trail are open and fresh air and exercise does wonders. Navigate trails using the Conservation Commissionβs GPS site but keep that 6-foot personal space and dogs on leash at all times
