Weston United Methodist Welcomes Rev. Dr. Pat MacHugh

Rev. Dr. Pat MacHugh is the new pastor of the Weston United Methodist Church

The Weston United Methodist Church is pleased to welcome Rev. Dr. Pat MacHugh as our new pastor, as of August 1, 2018. Rev. MacHugh's first worship service will be Sunday August 5th, at 9:30, with a special reception following worship. Please come and share in our celebration.

Rev MacHugh was born in Bethlehem, PA, attended Concord Carlisle High School, and graduated from the University of Maine with a BA in speech communication. She returned to the University of Maine and earned a Masters in Communication Disorders, and worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist before finally answering God’s call to ministry. She graduated from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 1985, was ordained an elder in the New England Conference in 1988 and received her Doctor of Ministry from Bangor Theological Seminary in 2003.

She has served as a United Methodist pastor for 5 churches in Northern Maine, and local churches in Williamstown and North Adams, MA before returning to Northern Maine as District Superintendent in 2008. For the past two years, she has served as the pastor of The Church of the Cape, in Cape Porpoise, Kennebunkport, Maine. Her sermons are posted each week on YouTube so they are available to those unable to attend worship.
