Weston's Tillen brothers Make The Music Man a Family Affair at Reagle Music Theatre

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston wraps up the company’s spectacular 50th Anniversary Summer Season with The Music Man from August 2-12. The multiple Tony award-winning musical will run for 8 performances (including 4 matinees) at the Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington St., Waltham, MA. The Music Man tells the tale of a charismatic con man who brings hope to a small town in Iowa by selling dreams of a boy’s band.

Reagle Music Theatre’s 50th Anniversary production of The Music Man features a regional cast of performers starring Mark Linehan as β€œHarold Hill” and Jennifer Ellis as β€œMarian Paroo," and featuring Weston's own Jonathan Tillen as "Winthrop Paroo" and Christopher Tillen as a member of the youth ensemble.

Produced by Robert J. Eagle; Directed and Choreographed by Susan M. Chebookjian, who will restage the original Broadway and film choreography by Onna White; Music Direction by Dan Rodriguez.

Brothers Jonathan and Christopher Tillen are Weston natives and have honed their acting and performing skills at Reagle Music Theatre and on additional stages:

JONATHAN TILLEN (Winthrop Paroo) is a rising 6th grader. His previous shows include
Beauty and the Beast and Reagle’s ChristmasTime. He was a member of the MMEA All-State Treble Chorus, plays violin and is a 2nd Dan degree black belt.

CHRISTOPHER TILLEN (Youth Ensemble) has appeared in Billy Elliot (Billy), Seussical (Mr. Mayor), Pippin (Theo), Newsies (JoJo/Darcy), Alice in Wonderland, Shrek, and Reagle'sChristmasTime. He’s played piano for 7.5 years and a Level 3 Young Artist scholar at the River’s Conservatory.

The Music Man Performance Schedule: Thurs, August 2nd at 2:00 PM; Fri, August 3rd at 7:30 PM; Sat, August 4th at 7:30 PM; Sun, August 5th at 2:00 PM; Thurs, August 9th at 2:00 PM; Fri, August 10th at 7:30; Sat, August 11th at 7:30; Sun, August 12th at 2:00 PM.
